A photocopy of a 14 January 1995 article by John Stang for the Tri-City Herald titled "Benton deputies investigating woman's harassment report." This is dated in Acord's hand on the original.

A reservation form for a Dinner Meeting of the Eastern Washington Section of the American Nuclear Society on 14 February 1995 at the Shilo Inn, Richland, WA. This notes that James Acord was presenting "Philosophy and Thoughts of a Resident Sculptor."

James Acord has drawn a red line outside of the perimeter of Hanford with arrows noting "Side 1" and "Side Two". A note in red and blue ink states in the third-person that "Bright Red line shows route of James L. Acord as he listened to Tape: __Mrs. Galore in Absentia__. His only working tape deck is in his car but it was a __great__ excuse to get out of town."

This letter concerns: (1) ruthenium and the uses of it as a material; (2) apologies for delay in correspondence; (3) sale of a Granite sculpture; (4) excitement for an art project of transmuting material; (5) his upcoming London trip and staying for a few days at James Flint's place; (6) his planned presentation.
The written notes satte that "Dave and I got along great. At last I've found my physicist."

Single page copy of a printed email from James Acord to a list of friends, dated 21 July 2001.
This email concerns: (1) challenges with using email; (2) hope to create the "Fourth Reliquary" when he returns to the states; (3) the current working trip, and gratitude for those who encouraged him; (4) praise for James Flint; (5) hospitality from Andy and Sandra; (6) preparation for being home, and homeless.

A three-page copy of a printed email written by James Acord to Tom Putnam, with a brief note from James Acord to Janet and Edward Galore. The James Flint email is dated 16 July 2001, and the note, written in red ink, is dated 15 September [2001], written in Everett, WA.
The email concerns: (1) on the ATOMIC exhibition; (2) being "broke" yet occupied with meetings and presentations; (3) effort to get some money from Don [Carver?]; (3) efforts at creating a sculpture focused on transmutation; (4) spending time with Dave Wark in Oxford; (5) challenges with nuclear art creation at Imperial College; (6) issues with converting currency in London; (7) frustration with arts infrastructure.
The written note suggests that while he struggles with email, he thought to "just send [them] some stuff."

A photocopy of a letter from Alan E. Waltar, President of the American Nuclear Society to Dr. Peter Haug, Secretary General of the German Nuclear Society about James Acord, dated 10 February 1996.
This letter mentions articles from The New Yorker [sent with the original letter], and speaks highly of Acord, noting that he won the American Nuclear Society Public Information Communication Award in 1994.
This asks to connect Acord to "open forum" activities in Bonn, Germany, and suggests that the author also be permitted to participate.

This double-sided copy, printed by Bob Seidel for James Acord, contains news items on power reactor performance numbers, recent nuclear deals, and on Russia sending a nuclear reactor to India.

A photocopied letter from Bob Seidel at Argonne National Laboratory, Idaho Falls, Idaho to James Acord on 3 March 1995.
This includes highlighting and annotation by Acord with a red pen.
This addresses: (1) appreciation for a presentation at Argonne the week prior; (2) appreciation for time spent together and reference to an Idaho Falls Post Register article; (3) a question if Acord would "like to have some of the material we separate when our Fuel Cycle Facility starts up?"

Three photocopied sheets on peace-related activities.
The first sheet, recto only, is a copy of a 21 February 1995 letter from Jim Stoffel, coordinator of Hanford Peace Week 1995 to the Board of Trustees at the Mid-Columbia Symphony. This notes connections to World Citizens for Peace and to the B Reactor Museum Association, and discusses performance of Faure's "Requiem."
The second sheet, recto only is a copied 10 February 1995 article from the National Catholic Reporter titled "It may be too soon to tell Enola Gay story."
The third sheet is double-sided, and is a Mid-Winter 1995 update from the NY-based Fellowship of Reconciliation.
