This is a description and story of his time at the Blackett Laboratories shop at the Physics Department of Imperial College, London, in 1998. The core of the story is about a more than fourteen-year-old blind fish in its " a small dirty tank three floors below ground in the workshops of Blackett Laboratory." This blind fish was a subject of multiple artworks by James Acord.
