Extent
32.42 MB, 41:07 length
Scope and Content
A mono, 41-minute, 7-second digitized recording of the 6 June 1989 lecture by James Acord at a symposium [Coring?].
This is side A of the cassette recording; the remainder is rather quiet.
This begins with some loud, clipped industrial noise.
This includes a discussion about Acord's "Leaving for Richland" exhibition.
Notes
41000 Hz, 24-bit
Noise reduced (10 dB, sensitivity 6, 3-bands of smoothing).
Selected portions are loudness-normalized to -16.0 LUFS; because most of this recording is very quiet, some parts were raised to be more audible. Portions are still overwhelmed by the remaining noise.

Note that "19890606_Acord_Coring_Symposium_A_cleaned_v2.mp3" is a second version, with the initial 2 minutes of industrial noise removed, audio normalized acorss the span to -16 LUFS (with peaks under clipping), removal of a 60 Hz hum, and broadband his reduced by 8 dB. This makes the main lecture clearer, if slightly "watery".
