Envelope

A manila envelope addressed from James Acord (Seattle) to the Galore family (Seattle), dated 24 August 2009. This has two Edgar A. Poe stamps affixed.
This envelope contains: (1) a handwritten letter from Acord to Janet and Edward Galore, 24 August 2009, single page with coffee stains; (2) a photocopy from a 14 May 2009 article in the Tri-City Herald on "Earliest human sculpture found"; (3) a photocopy of a Piraro comic from 5 June 2007.

An envelope sent from James Acord while in Nottingham, England to the Galore family in Seattle, 28 October 1999. This contains (1) a three-page handwritten letter on the versos of (a) a printed email from Acord to Nicola Triscott, 30 September 1999, (b) a printed letter from Acord to Simon Franklin at Imperial College, 20 October 1999, and (c) an upside-down printed letter from Bea Tobolewska at City Arts, Nottingham to Acord on 22 October 1999; (2) a flier for Darby House Healing and Learning Center; and (3) a photocopy of an article called "Sculpting with nukes" by Chris Arnot [not stated, but page 412 of section G2 of *The Guardian*, Tuesday, 26 October 199] — this article is about James Acord.

This envelops contains: (1) a menu for the *Atomic Ale Brewpub & Eatery* in Richland, WA.; (2) page A3 of the 13 March 1997 Tri-City Herald, with marginalia; (3) a two page handwritten letter from Jim Acord to the Galores.

A manila 5" x 11.5" mailing envelope, addressed from "Eddie-the-Cat" and James Leroy Acord in Richland, WA to Janet & Edward Galore [noted as "Wheat People"] in Seattle. Not postmarked or dated, but based on contents this dates from around July 1995.
Contents include: (1) two short stalks of wheat; (2) A page from the 19 July 1995 Tri-City Herald with an article "Good news keeps growing for wheat crop"; (3) a clipping from the 25 July 1995 Tri-City Herald with a handwritten note from James Acord; and (4) a flyer for "Hanford Peace Week 1995".
