A single-sheet, single-sided color photocopy of James Acord's drawing of an experimental setup for transmuting Technetium-99 into Ruthenium-100, using either Radium-226 or Americium-241 as a Beta source and Beryllium-9 as a neutron source. The original drawing is dated 13 May 1999.

Four identical copies of a grant proposal by James Acord for the "creation of sculpture using neutron capture to transmute radioactive waste to a non-radioactive precious metal," converting Technetium to Ruthenium in collaboration with physicist David Wark.
Each packet includes: (1) 3-page proposal with headers "Partnership," "Project Title and Project Summary," "Project Development," "Work Plan and Time Scale," "Outcome," "Budget," "Partnership's Rights," "Managerial Expertise and Effective Partnership," "Research and Development to Date," and "Identifying and Reaching the Audience"; (2) 1-page CV of James Acord; (3) 1-page CV of David Wark; (4) a color photocopy of Acord's 1998 installation "NO ACCESS."
In a letter included in the overall packet in which these proposals were found, it suggests that these four copies may have been intended for distribution to Linley Storm, Tom Putnam, and Philip Schuyler, with one to be maintained by Janet Galore.

This letter concerns: (1) Acord being occupied with preparation for application to Imperial College's residency; (2) hope that Janet comes for a visit, with a note about a "key in a bottle sculpture"; (3) Acord sending 3 extra color images with the letter and a full grant proposal – asking Janet to copy the text to produce full copies for Linley Storm, Tom Putnam, and Philip Schuyler; (4) the wind chill in Alaska, and its beauty.

This contains: (1) a hand-written letter from Acord to Janet Galore, dated the same; (2) four identical copies of a grant proposal.
It appears that the grant proposal, based on the text of the letter were copies generated from an original by Janet Galore, intended to be distributed to Linley Storm, Tom Putnam, and Philip Schuyler. It is not known if other copies were made or sent.
