Scope and Content
A drawing by James Acord, dated June 1999, of the "Dream of the Song of the Metals" with explanatory handwritten text.
The text above the drawing reads: "Dream of the Song of the Metals from last year. | Remembering a dream when no longer dreaming changes the | dream and the dreamer. Remembrance changes details without | a loss of intensity. The dream is space, void, color, light".
The text below the drawing reads: "& dark — things sensed rather than heard or seen. What | was unusual was the sound of singing the metals made. | I understood, in the way of dreams, the metals were singing | to me to be transmuted. The sound reminded me | of the shriek of Tin. | June 1999 Acord".
